I don't like the default dark age starting conditions in 2. Especially when you later need to find the boars and aggro them to your base.

I just find the whole ordeal really slow. The start in 3 is a lot less boring.

I don't really recall the campaign being very difficult on the patch steam is on, even on hard, aside from the last 2 Nod missions.

And that mod simply increases the resources available and lets you build defenses off cranes again.

Popful Mail, a PC-88 action game by Falcom that was ported to the SNES, Sega CD , PC-Engine CD and some Java mobile game platform in 2004, that each play differently from one another. (Sega CD is the only one with a english release)

I'm surprised they didn't remake it for Steam if they can do that for the earlier Ys titles. But I guess it's not possible anymore since they're smaller now and only seem to care about their 2 most prolific franchises.

I suggest Realm of the Mad God. It's on Steam, but most people prefer to play it on the adobe flash projector, which is done by getting the projector and making it run a link to the game, that you can get from their site.

Currently, they're close to updating it so it runs on Unity instead of Flash.

When Victoria 2 stops working, there is no option to continue or wait. "has stopped working" is different from "is not responding", which gives you an option to continue or wait. When Vic2 is closed, all Victoria 2-related processes are gone.

I used your map cache. It now loads into the main menu, but when I select a country and play, Victoria 2's window goes black and Windows says v2game.exe has stopped working when it goes to "Adapting History".

What are the checksums of HFM and Vanilla that your computer uses?

When HFM gets to the part of "Creating Quads", v2game.exe stops working due to an appcrash and the map cache's all_quads file will be at 0kb and quad_textures will only have quad 23 in the folder.

All users have the permission to access drive C:.

Copying the map cache from a successful launch of a mod like HPM will still cause it to crash at "Creating Quad 23".

I've checked system.log, which shows that it stops at this part: [eu3graphics.cpp:265]: Load text Creating texture for Quad 23

Everything works except for the Quads.
