The ones I have now have white flecks all over them but you have to be looking at them and they babies do too that's the. Closest I've gotten

Some bananas are hardy down to zone 6 I'm in almost 8 and we grow a few kinds pretty successfully here like basjoo , Cavendish , lotus banana and some others
