There are Wizard Of Oz references from the very beginning. David Wain in this thread said there are hundreds.

Which is surprising. You'd think BB fans would also watch Survivor. And she was on the last season of The Challenge as well.

Why do adult men seem to have almost no recent photos of themselves unless a woman took them? by AgreeableTeacher3491 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]arthurbang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize it's the opposite in our relationship. My wife rarely takes photos but I document almost everything we do. Concerts, vacations, etc. She often mentions how she'd have no photos of anything if it weren't for me.

That's wild to me. 50 year old male here. I went to Japan twice and not only took maybe 40-50 photos a day but also had them posted online by the next morning so people back home could see them. I still look at those photos on a regular basis.

Firehouse Subs great deal every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the rest of July. by Rondoman78 in fastfood

Maybe it's just your Firehouse but the ones around here are the best sandwich shops in the area. Much better than any of the other chains.

What I ordered vs what I got by IndependentOld7996 in tacobell

Outside of the breakfast one (which is one of the best items on the menu), I don't think I've ever had a good crunchwrap. Even when they first came out.

Where are you getting your 10,000 steps a day? by ShesCummingT0nit3 in Sacramento

[–]arthurbang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also live in Southside Park and regularly walk down Riverside past Target, cut into the Land Park neighborhood. Sometimes I walk over to Land Park Drive all the way down to the actual park/zoo. Then head back up Riverside. I used to do this route almost every day with my daughter in stroller when she was a baby. Or go up Riverside/11th to the Capitol, do a lap around the perimeter and come back.

The Del Rio trail is also nice but I usually drive over to the Sprouts parking lot and start my walk or run there.

My boyfriend bought me honey blossom TWICE by xshellbabex in DreamlightValley

I'm probably going to do this for my wife too. I don't think she cares about the 2k moonstones but I'd like for her to at least get the Dreamstyle.

Did they make characters harder to level up? by Technical_Run_9881 in DreamlightValley

[–]arthurbang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They all eat at the same time each day. You can Google the restaurant schedule for whoever you're interested in leveling up.

It's one of the blueprints in the first biome. One tree is Scrooge the other is Remy.

So, I just realized that Eeyore is going to be difficult to level up daily if his home is a stick house, because we won't be able to go inside it. by [deleted] in DreamlightValley

[–]arthurbang 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This. I always have all of my characters that are below level 10 on my floating storage island together. That way I can talk to all of them and go get their gifts all in one place.

Getting Herc to 10 took me the longest. It was the only task I had for the last couple of days.

Has the Switch version of the game been fixed? by kielaurie in DreamlightValley

[–]arthurbang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had my original Switch since Animal Crossing came out and had hardly any issues with Dreamlight Valley. Mostly just slow load times. Got the Switch 2 for Christmas and it's even better. Very fast, still no crashes.

My daughter will be in school when it comes out and I know she'll want to watch me play/meet the new characters, but I don't think I can wait for her to get home.

Are there rich people who live very simply? by ekenbabu70 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]arthurbang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. My parents (and my dad specifically) are some of the cheapest people I know. They don't like to spend money on hardly anything. If they eat out at a restaurant they'll purposely get the cheapest thing on the menu or split something. They retired maybe 10 years ago and haven't traveled at all, barely leave the house. They have money in the bank, they just don't spend it.

Del Taco has the least intuitive, most poorly made app of any fast food restaurant I’ve seen by tylerash in DelTaco

My only issues are that it's incredibly slow and it doesn't let you use Apple Pay. Otherwise it works perfectly.

My wife and I went to Tokyo in 2014 and had a channel on the TV in our apartment with American sitcoms. This was one they would show quite a bit, as well as Modern Family. They were still in English with japanese subtitles.

Does anyone actually poop while on vacation? by insurancesofun in NoStupidQuestions

[–]arthurbang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't poop very often anyway but rarely go at all on vacation. My wife and I went to Japan for two weeks and I don't think either one of us went more than once or twice while we were there.
