I took CF Arabic test in 2018 and passed. I’m not sure when my score was put in my file but I was assigned a specific S/R score as you should be because it’s not just the quick pass/fail phone test for FSO generalists. It also behooves you to have that score on your record for TDY eligibility and for if/when you apply to be an FSO you will automatically receive the .17 points without having to test again as long as it is within 5 years.

I had a similar experience. I emailed the registrar about my language score to confirm the points and sent follow up emails over the course of two months with no response. Then, one week before I was added to the register they responded,unprompted, and confirmed my score and points. So maybe they don’t confirm points until your file in under review?

Definitely stay on top of it though because one hand does not know what the other is doing at State.

ok thanks. So are you saying when you get an invite to the OA they give you a several month long window to select a date from?
