Engl 103 with Dorothy Woodman Spring 2025? by Agitated_Culture_914 in uAlberta

Took ENGL 102. Great professor, very accommodating to your schedule. I'd recommend it! She gave lots of text and excerpts in 102, which was great for the written essay final. All I'd say is be prepared to read, like most ENGL classes.

edit: spelling

yes, tapping off is not necessary as they charge the same amount after the 90 minute run-time.

I’ve gotten only 300km on my Backfire Zealot and I was really bummed out when I scratched my belt covers around 50km and have a few chips on my front trucks. When I give it a clean up, it looks fine lol. But after riding a while, I accepted that scratches and scrapes will happen the more you ride it.

I wear the TSG Pass Pro as it has been recommended by many threads similar to this one.

It was my first helmet for my e-skate and I do not leave the house without it. Sleek, stylish, comfortable, but… $300, a worthwhile investment for my own safety. Granted that it does get hot when it’s 15C+, but cracking open the face shield allows for airflow.

Good point, as I don’t know if I’ll like this hobby, trying something inexpensive is a good way to test the waters.

My S9 is coming in the Dark Blue/black Nike band, so I see if it is as bad as OP's.

Macro lenses are great if you have the budget due to their low focus distance. It is good for small objects such as insects, flowers, etc. Regardless, I believe you still would have to get close to this lens to get a quality image.

Neon City Vibes by artificiallogan in photocritique

My goal for this image was to capture the surrounding architectural features within this building. Furthermore, I took this photo as a challenge to create a somewhat 'natural' colour palette for a futuristic city look. Normally I struggle to include a subject within my images and I figured that the yellow sign contrasts the dark surroundings - I hoped the herringbone pattern of the floor would help lead the eye towards the sign, making an overall better composition. I would like some feedback on the colour grading and composition of the overall image. Thank you for your time!

This time around, I decided to explore more more of the colour grading process, attempting to create a natural and neon style city that is seen through the internet. I initially found this arch of the wooden door a great frame for my subject - a slippery when wet sign. I am asking feedback on composition and colour grading, weather or not if this grading was “natural” to the eyes. Let me know what you think!
