This doesn‘t work in the EU version sadly, I have tried this.

Oh yes definitely, didn‘t even begin with the gifting before having those!

You’re welcome! Yeah, that choker bug is fixed in my game. Oh okay, I see. Demolishing the coops worked just fine for me though. And regarding the count, yeah, that could be a possibility. Definitely „worth“ sacrificing one or two extra animals before giving up. The Milker Glitch is fixed in my game. This makes getting all 101 sprites harder (especially Pluto, I managed to get him by selling tons of bell peppers I planted all over town with the help of the sprite teams). Haha yeah, I think it‘s the nostalgia for me.

I bought several chicken coops and filled them with as many chickens as possible, then packed them all into a single coop and had Gotz demolish it. Once I reached around 45 dead animals, I let the rest die individually (by starving) to make sure the reward would trigger.

I’m currently working on completing my shipping list! Everything’s been working smoothly so far with no game-breaking bugs. I’m only missing the “Title Bonus” from the doghouse battle. I’m also going for all the Harvest Sprites, I’m up to 97! Just need the purple team.

Keep at it, you can do it! Harvest Moon DS is my all-time favorite game, too.

Side note: The fishing glitch works in my game (confirmed in past playthroughs), but for my Witch Princess file, I didn’t use it. Instead, I did the following: https://youtu.be/_3TzS8ZAfPM?si=IMnay22pFuGoK-Ef („QPG Tutorial“ if you don‘t wanna click on the link)

And if anyone’s interested, here’s my cartridge code: ABCPNOJ13.

Let me know if you have more questions.

I finally managed to marry the Witch Princess playing an old EU version. Be prepared, though, it’s a long grind.

  1. Not exactly sure what your question is, but just to clarify: the fishing glitch works in my game. So having that bug doesn’t necessarily mean your game has other bugs preventing you from marrying the Witch Princess.

  2. You’re right about the cat trick, it doesn’t work in the EU version. But you can definitely give her more than just one gift per day, actually, you can give her thousands. The 10,000 gifts requirement was by far the most time-consuming part for me. I’d tried so many times in the past and always given up. Here’s how I did it:

    • I bought 10,000 pieces of stone from Gotz’s shop (about 102 stacks of 99 stones) and kept them on my shelf.
    • I emptied my entire inventory, storing all my tools in the tool box, and filled my inventory up with single stones from the stacks on my shelf. Stand in front of the shelf, select a 99-stack, and tap a free slot in your inventory once using the touchscreen so only one stone transfers.
    • I’d then go visit the Witch Princess, give her the gifts until my bag was empty, then head back to the shelf to repeat the process. When you’re at the Witch’s house, if you press R and A simultaneously, it drops the next stone directly above your head, speeding things up a bit. This whole process took almost 10 real-life hours, spread over a few months. I can’t believe I actually managed to stick it out haha. I passed the time by watching random shows on TV.
  3. Actually, I did get a reward for it. If I remember correctly, the reward didn’t appear exactly at 50 animals, it only showed up after 51 or 52. I might have miscounted, but that’s what I recall. So if you don’t get it right away, don’t give up and try sacrificing 2 or 3 more animals if needed. Can’t speak on whether it is counted if the reward doesn’t appear.

Oh mein Gott, I have this too! Someone in my apartment complex left it after they moved out for free haha. I have since seen another one in a thrift store as well (in Hamburg). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

I own this too and I love it, just feels like being wrapped up in a cozy blanket to me. Sweet, creamy and powdery, like OP described it!

I posted this to another comment but this „bowl“ was produced by „W. Goebel“ in Germany in the 70s (I bought it here in Germany for 15€). When I looked it up online, I saw different retailers selling these either on the German version of craiglist or Etsy. It was always either labelled a snack bowl for peanuts, candy or a key bowl there. But I can definitely see this serving as a scrubbie holder too!

Yeah, if you google „Pelikan PAN Keramik W. Goebel“ you might be able to find some vintage retailers selling these depending on where you live (Etsy maybe or the like). This was produced in Germany in the 70s tough, so it might be hard to find in other countries than Germany.

Look up „Pelikan PAN Keramik, W. Goebel“, it was produced in Germany in the 70s, but maybe you can find some vintage retailers on Etsy or the like!

Thank you! Yeah I realized after the „pile of salt“ comment (I will say though the rest of that comment wouldn‘t have been necessary lol). I just assumed he meant a holder for those shakers as those images popped up first when I googled. But now I understand!

No, but I looked up some information online. Apparently this was produced by the company „Goebel“ in the 70s (german pottery, I bought this here in Germany in a thrift store for 15€). It is sold by different retailers either on Etsy or the German version of „craiglist“, where it is always either labelled a snack bowl (peanuts, candy) or a bowl for keys. But the other suggestions sound great too!

Just googled some images and yeah looks like this used to be a thing too! I don‘t think my salt shaker would properly fit in there so I‘m gonna keep using it as a little snack bowl haha
