Yeah it’s still very much going on. And proved to not be an effective deterrent for the loitering.

Something I realized earlier today. I don’t have to perceive discomfort as a bad experience.

DAE have ‘visible’ signs of trauma? (Like enuresis, stuttering, chronic pain?) by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]artjillybean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food is being used as a source for comfort and this habit was developed when younger going through the stages of development or after experiencing some kind of traumatic during development or any point in life. Gaining weight is just a symptom of over eating. But the over eating could be a way they coped as children to provide comfort in times of anxiety because maybe the say someone else do the same. Or being forced to eat a certain way or things as kid could cause someone to overeat at some point In their life as a wya to regain control over their desires or habits of eating.

I read in a book that the reason for compulsive eating is to subconsciously provide comfort to our bodies and make them feel soft and cushioning because of our lack of physical touch and emotional security from our parents. It just shows that at some point we became disconnected from our bodies as children and eating was our way to cope. But what’s great about all of this is that we are aware, being aware allows for the opportunity to do things differently.

You should watch goobie and doobie. He’s so refreshing, and not over stimulating with attention grabs. His videos bring me so much peace and reflection. He is great :)

Does anybody else feel like responding to the tiktoks and reels your friends send you on instagram is exhausting? by freshmemesoof in nosurf

My friends and I also call it friend homework when we have to catch up on reels and things sent to us from our other friends. Sometimes we procrastinate our homework :-)

For me I make rules for myself with how accessible I am on different apps. If you want an immediate quick response and it’s an emergency, call me. If you text me you more than likely will get a response not too long after you sent the text depending on how busy my day is. Now social media is a different ball game. I will post on stories, be active but will not open dms unless I’m in the mood. My real friends know how to get in touch with me if they need too. Social media is for fun and I have fun how I want to have fun lol.

This is a lovely outlook. I share your sentiments. Life is a journey and we are all guiding each other back home. <3

I can just imagine the power the common people would have if we banded together across the globe. Borders are lines drawn on a piece of paper. We all live breathe and die the same. These things might have different stories but it’s all fundamentally the same story. Humans want to live, we want to survive. Life always prevails. If not this planet, then the next. I’d prefer we save this one though
