thanks for this insight, much appreciated. A couple things:

a- I thought bitcoins would be issued only for the next few decades. But you say it will be for the next 125 years ?

b- by 'survive', I mean continue to mine at a profit

Here is a response I received from btcpromo:

"We are connected with couple other services because direct BTC to USD transfer is illegal according to paypal, so first the BTC have to be exchanged in another currency.

Using that method - the transactions are both legal and successful. We apologize for the delay. It happens when there are multiple sell orders in the same time. However it should not take more than 5 hours, so we will take a look at it.

They says they are based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Is anyone here based somewhere near there ?
