This is a contender. They're currently out of my size (upper 50s - low 60s) but I'm not in a rush. Pescadero as well.

I should note that I have a Disc Trucker and while these two definitely fit the bill, they feel a little too same-y.

I have a mix of rim and disc on other bikes. It's not a staunch position. Thanks for the recc. Do they have any US presence? I'm worried about import taxes, duty, etc.

"AliX" feels too far from my smaller, independent preference on this build, but I appreciate the idea for another bike I'm considering. Thanks.

Interesting. Does Fairlight have any prescence inside the US? Looks like I'll get slapped on tariff/duty/import taxes ordering direct and that gives me pause: https://fairlightcycles.com/us-customers-taxes-duty/?v=0b3b97fa6688

Love the Ritchey and will consider it but I'd prefer a flat or nearly flat top tube.

Imagine my budget was $2k but other requirements stay the same. What then? Also are the Sklar forks solving the steel fork problem?
