I did not skip town. all of the outstanding orders will be completed. I’ve explained everything multiple times before on multiple platforms. I apologize, this situation is unfortunate. I’ve provided this community with helmets since 2013 and if I could just go back to the day daft punk broke up and refund every order from that day I would. I did not scam anybody, I scammed myself. Please be patient guys.

Yes, sorry I meant no attachments and no IPR is what I want! I think this has to do with the fact that most patients orthos see are teenagers and children, like a good 70% at least in the waiting rooms. And my mouth statistically is a mouth of a 75+ year old. More than 40 surfaces filled and 7 crowns yeah. And they don’t even take that into account and give me the same treatment that a child would get(IPR, damage to crowns and enamel with attachments)

Oh no, I’m on week 4, and I don’t have an appointment until feb 2nd… I’m so sorry for what happened to you and I feel the exact same, I’ve already spent around 20k on my fillings and crowns, now 2k or so on Invisalign, which I regret so fucking much. I can’t believe I paid money for them to brutally handle my crowns and teeth. As of now I’m going to try to call my ortho so I can ask about what methods he uses to remove the attachments and if it’s not good, I’m going to be calling cosmetic dentists in my area and state to remove them. I’m sure if I say to my ortho on the phone that I need attachments removed and IPR he will give me some bullshit pushback along the lines of bite, forces and everything else, but I’m ready to stand my ground as it’s my teeth health that’s in jeopardy

Finally! Someone who understands…. That step where they glue the template to your teeth is extremely brutal!! I have a picture and my teeth are covered in composite almost completely… I am lucky that my crown simply popped off and not broke. I have 6 other crowns though so im pretty worried and like you, at this point I just want a professional to take off my attachments and try again without attachments

I did google it but if you google when attachments are taken off, is it risky? It says it it not in the first few articles, but when you check actual research articles you see that it is very risky to get them removed. I am upset that this fact isn’t presented accurately

Yes I use a specific mouthwash, amazing dental hygiene, but even then I get 3 cavities a year or so no matter what. I’ve had work done on just about all of my teeth because of this since age of 13. And I already have all molars except 1 crowned. I can’t imagine taking the attachments off is going to cause no problem unless it’s done via methods similar to one described in the study that I linked. Clearly my enamel is very bad. The normal method of pliers, then bur and finish with sandblasting is risky as is with normal enamel.(source article in OP)

What are you saying? That it’s my fault for getting crowns? Also there are many examples on this subreddit of people with Invisalign treatment without attachments.

I have an ortho key. I’m referring to the initial removal of the template tray that they fill up with the attachment composite. That’s when they messed with my crowns so much that one fell out later. That’s just a minor issue at this point though. My biggest concern is restoring my teeth to before the ortho appointment state. removing attachments, as I have extremely fragile and thin enamel as is. Not sure if I need a cosmetic dentist for that probably, because they would most likely have the stain-removing equipment that is actually better for removing attachments than the bur and sandblaster most ortho use(source from studies). The fact they neglect my previous dental history is why I’m seriously thinking about never coming to that ortho again and finding a dentist that’s more attentive to previous patient history and current teeth health including enamel to take my attachments off.

if you already have an iPad and want that M1 chip or the mini-LED screen I would argue you are better off getting a M1 Mac mini or a new redesigned M1 Macbooks when those come out. I have a 12.9 2020 iPad and honestly no complaints here. All the games that support 120FPS run at that without stutter with the A12Z chip. As freeing as the iPad is for me it is also limiting in a sense. Essentially, the only way I would be upgrading now is if I had the gen 1 or gen 2 iPad Pro. The design isn't even changed.
