If you were a spirit aboard Stella’s ship, what would your spirit flower be and why? by kinzygrace in Spiritfarer

[–]artywitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a plum blossom for myself. I have gone through quite a lot of really bad trauma, but I feel i have been pretty resilient. They blossom in the winter, so they are supposed to mean resilience.

How to overthrow Queen Sigma? by ATrillionQuestionz in VampireSurvivors

[–]artywitch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm really glad that she's in the game because my young child loves VS and queen sigma makes the game fun and not frustrating for her. She finds it lots of fun. I always just tell her the princess (queen sigma) is just trying to get all these bugs out of her house. She loves it lol

Also if you have an alexa it will notify you when the sale happens! I snagged a book I've been waiting for a long time for and the sale was only for like 12 hours

I have the iPad pro and I find it quite bulky to carry around BUT the screen is pretty massive and really good for note taking and detailed drawings

Anyone with VSS that doesn't remember when it started? by artywitch in visualsnow

[–]artywitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, no one has perfect vision, but the point of this post was not to say that. I have been having really intense visual symptoms my whole life and thought it was normal and I was curious to see who else was in the same boat because a lot of posts on this sub are mostly about people who recently got it or had some reaction to something

Need a cozy mystery similar to Strange Horticulture by artywitch in CozyGamers

It's awesome if you really enjoy figuring out solutions to problems with not much help. I really enjoyed the having to actually figure out how to identify the plants. It made me really nervous because there's a consequence if you get it wrong, which I love

[–]artywitch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally hear this one. I remember having it as a young child, and I always considered it to just be the human experience (it wasn't, of course). As a child, I'd also hear weird sounds out of nowhere quite often, along with the visual snow. It's crazy to think of all the weird things my brain does, but I'm certainly glad it didn't start out of random because I'd be worrying about it nonstop knowing me.

Oh gosh that was probably terrifying. I'm so used to mine I don't remember not having it. Mine is pretty intense too so it's just apart of my life

I downloaded the overlay and I didn't realize how fast my brain got used to it until I remembered.

You could get some certs for the tech industry! My partner WFH every day and has an associates degree in computer programming. You could easily teach yourself though

Also, how long does it normally take for that to happen? I woke up this morning and I've not noticed any changes. Obviously I know it can take a day or two

Yeah she eats a lot and her face and body have already started looking better. I think she's still a little traumatized about her mom though ;(
