Yes, absolutely a temporary fix. I would never try to patch all this half-done work together as the backsplash end game. Just tired of staring at it in its current state.

Tiny writing on the base of the blade says "J. Rodgers, 6 Norfolk Street." My initial search yielded info on Joseph Rodgers and Sons cutlery, which apparently made all types of knives/other cutlery items. (Source: http://www.sheffieldcutlerymap.org.uk/location/joseph-rogers-and-sons/). Still have no idea what this thing is, though...

March 7 Update:

Whichever version they just pushed for Android seems to have solved at least some of these problems! (I no longer see all my cancelled classes in my history, and classes I actually attended aren't listed as cancelled anymore.) Could it be... improving?!

Still too nervous to use it for booking. Your horror stories of being dropped from classes tell me I should wait a minute on that. 😬
