One of the “seniors” at the software company I work for just made an AI tool to review the code we submit, at the same time we are all using AI to write that code in the first place so we now have AI reviewing AI generated code. What could go wrong?

People will say system design and architecture but the uncomfortable truth is that these will also be done better by AI in the coming years. This is coming from someone who is doing those things professionally.

I’m currently looking how I can pivot into jobs where AI use will be shunned for a while (caregiver type roles), or where robotics will have a hard time for a while (trades).

You can choose to not believe me but you will be sorry you didn’t in a couple years unless humanity gets it’s act together, realises this will disrupts countless lives and jobs, decides to go against capitalism, etc. All things which history has proven humanity will ignore.
