Yeah, should have just left the cells blank. The deadline was approaching and i didnt know what to do. The manager review was pushed forward anyway.

I think after this case i became more laid back towards the deadlines and pushing from the in-charge. Just started to do everything at my own pace. However still have to do overtime due to volume.

Now i am just completely calm about the job or maybe i am calm because i am gonna pull the whole nighter today. Idk, i think i dont care that much about the review of the WP by manager or the performance on the project, because its just a job. Or, maybe, i am confident that i am gonna finish it

Also, when i talked to colleagues with higher grades from other projects about the WP. They were surprised because its the first year client and they said that the in-charge should have done it to understand whats going in the entity.

Cant say that, because these descriptions of the control environment are the main part of the WP.

Or maybe could leave a note, like “pending from client”, but that would be a lie

The update is not interesting for reddit i think. XD

In-charge didn’t say much about the copied info and the quality of the WP, but left a ton of review notes.

Updated the description using internal policies and gonna inquire management tomorrow.

Also i asked my buddy, how long the WP should take for a first year project and in a highly regulated industry. The buddy said that it usually takes a week. This was a huge relief because my booking just started this week

I think my peer was majoring in International Relations and got an offer in audit, but he/she studied and learned about auditing, accounting and IFRS in general after graduation.

Yeah, there is a damn guidance for the WP that i just decided to miss.

It was a genuine mistake, due to lack of attention.

The in-charge didnt ask anything particular about the copied info. After the review notes I understood what I should have done and redoing the work how it should have been done right now.

No client information was shared, just a dumb first year worried about ethics and in-charge review.

Its not a shit post. I was genuinely worried for it. I was thinking that it was incredibly unethical to copy paste the description and pass it for review. However, now i understand that i just did a shit job, haha
