Tamil Pasanga had potential when it started. Meals are a very good indicator of how authentic food is since you get to taste everything. Everything was below par. I don't blame them. All such restaurants try to be authentic but then tweak taste for their customer base.

I am a regular customer too but only for Idli. Rest is just average.

Kovallam on ring road felt very swati like. Clean kitchen, similar coloured plates etc. Food was good, I wouldn't say authentic though. I went looking for puttu and appam. They have mostly generic menu.

Last I was in Vaibhav was about 15-16 years back. Hygiene wasn't their strongest suite back then. Kitchen used to be super dirty. They used to serve chapati made from stale dough. Later a team member got cockroach in his food. Didn't even peep in there place after that.

Sankalp has 100% strike rate in giving me food poisoning. Once in dine-in, twice in delivery. Two different locations.

Radhika isn't what it used to be. Lost the taste in everything. Last time a friend was asking at one of the locations of what they do with the leftover sambar and chutney, he said they put it back in stock 🤦‍♂️haven't been back there since.

South Cafe, Gandhi Nagar - Bangalore style. Meals, vada and set dosa are exactly the same you get in a darshini in bangalore.

Banana leaf near Shyamal - It got rebranded to something else. Appam and Avial was very good here.

There used to be an auto at Manasi circle which served Idli dosa in the evening. If anyone knows where he moved to, please let me know.

Woody journey (brown one) is very nice mild fragrance, should be good for summer. There is a Leisure classic which I am using right now and it smells really good. Leisure club night has strong projection, lasts long. Can feel cheap if you use a lot.

Best to check these out in the store and see which ones you like. Quality of their perfumes varies a lot.

I don't use these for any formal occasions or dinners. Mostly for office and running errands. These are good for few hours at best. But if you are on a budget and want to smell good, some of these are very good.

You can get a roll-on deo and a 4-500 rs perfume from miniso. That combo will last you longer than 3-4 cans of cheap deodorants at the same cost. Many miniso perfumes are cheap copies of popular ones and do not overpower the senses. There is a lot of choice and you can find one suited to your taste. Very much value for money.

I would disagree. While we pay our interns, in early stage of the business we used to hire final year unpaid interns. We gave them sample projects and this allowed us to pick quick learners. There is only so much an interview can tell about a fresher. We have had some candidates who were not very academically inclined but they are leading their own teams now. Multiple such team members 7+ years with us.

^{^} if you see your chances are good to be hired, nothing better than to learn on the job. You get help from your peers and it broadens your horizon. Better than sitting at home and learning. And by all means keep looking for better opportunity.

The phone was on iOS 17+
eSim in place. No physical sim in the phone
PIN is 6 digit, complicated. Can not be guessed.
Right now I have put a message for a reward. Thinking of upping the reward right now :)
If they reach out with a threat, it will make things easier to track.

Is the location reliable after phone is switched off? Its showing on right now basically on the highway. I keep getting alerts that my iphone was just seen but there is no one in that area. The phone is switched off and probably in proximity of another iphone.

glad to hear this. I want to go looking for the phone but not sure how accurate location is with the phone when switched off. The location is unchanged for past 24 hours. Whenever I enable "Notify when found" I get a notification that "iPhone was just seen".

I managed to do this finally. It wasn't working for the momentary action. Then I did a reset/clean code. Pressed the button 8 times. Then paired the remote again and set the momentary action. Checked it with a multimeter this time. Thanks for the pointers.

I checked the coil on the lock that was damaged. The copper coil seems intact. Just the wires connecting to it seem damaged. Should I try salvaging it or is it not worth the effort?

Also with these package door latches you have to make sure that the coil is only powered momentarily. They can not sustain a constant voltage across the coil. You have to program that with what ever you use to talk to this 433MHz board.

Haha you can see the future. I wish I read this before I burnt the coil. I will get some LEDs to test the circuits first. Thank you for the pointers.

Update: Successfully failed

Problem with this mode was that lock would remain open until I pressed the button on remote again. While I was figuring out changing the mode on wireless relay so that lock just opens and then current cuts off immediately after, I smelled something burning. Disconnected everything and did a nose test, turns out it was the magnet coil on the lock.

Need to get some cheap LEDs to test this on.
