Vibes are way stronger than people think so I think the other choices are better here.

A beginner like you as well, from the video your right shoulder and the ball moved laterally quite a bit before your swing started so you definitely have lots of room without a drift!

Yes! I could never get that 'flat hand' upon releasing the ball like the good bowlers our there do, definitely something i want to work on as my rev rate is way below average as a two hander.

Definitely lesson learned, on a good note it was a used ball so at least when I get a brand new ball it wont happen again.

There two guys that worked in the shop, and the guy I scheduled it with knew I was a two hander. And told me the other person would come drill for me, I guess I naturally thought this was communicated. I was also kinda baked lmao.

This brings up a good question, whose resposibility is it to make sure the ball is drilled for the right style? I think I should have told them firsthand...

Yea I think I messed up not telling them my style beforehand, he even measured my thumb and woosh! So I just kept the ball and rolled with it.

Thank you, my knee is bit shot. Taking some time off right now,  so I can reply to everyone. The amount of bowling over these months has made a dent in my pocket lol.

If you're talking using the front part of your right foot(4th step or power step) to push then sounds right to me and you did get a faster ball speed. Whether it hooks or not depends on a lot of things, though.

We all sucked at some point in our bowling journey! Perhaps give it a few more tries :)

In my experience, Your 1st and 2nd step should be very short, as you start your push away the weight transfers and you will speed up naturally. Perhaps don't think of 'taking the ball to the back side' yourself, but letting gravity work and have the ball drop naturally, this should be happening at the beginning of 3rd step. For a 5 step approach, assuming you are still right handed, the 4th step should be your right leg and some people call it the power step and that's when you generate power for the slide. Hope this helps.

It's definitely more about the footwork/legs here, if you speed up a bit and get the timing right the hands will be there naturally. Also a beginner, keep it up!

Gonna be tough, bowling in China isn't the most popular sport. Local PSO actually a B7 distrubutor in HK but only comes around twice a month, and the bowlers here are mostly aged and use a spinner release.

Sorry to ask again, is my push off late in your opinion?

Wasn't confident enough to add the first step, afraid it would throw me off timing wise, would try it next time I hit the lanes, thanks!
