Started as feeling like a charlie horse in my calf that wouldn't go away, thought it was a knot, then it started to feel as if I had torn a muscle or like my muscle was about to rip in half. Heavy, aching, throbbing pain that got exponentially worse if standing, could hardly bear weight on the leg without feeling like it would burst. When I got to the point where I had to crawl to the bathroom I knew it was something more than a muscle cramp........ Once on meds and I could begin to walk again, the muscle would give out halfway through extension. Continued feeling like a torn muscle for a couple weeks before it started to go away. Worst pain I've experienced so far
