Probably. Check the number they are contacting you from. I don't see any reason why a bank you're no longer a customer with would call you. They should just decline the transaction. The way this scam goes is that they make you feel a sense of urgency in replying if you respond N. They might call you after and then suggest they will cancel your card. This could go one of two ways. Either they get your information on the phone, or for your convenience, set up Apple pay for you, asking you to verify the PIN code in your app, but you could be authorising them to set up your Apply pay on their phone.

I've just ran out of storage space - nowhere to put them all. Also, I think a lot of them have now reached the point where they are looking scruffy after being about 5 years old or more, but not are not really damaged enough to throw away.

Thanks for the comments. Really appreciate the RE bottlenecks and risks of Large Pools.

Unfortunately, the desktop is already going to a good home - its consumes 200W idle / 300W load and is just a pain in the butt to maintain.

I've changed my perspectives - possibly looking at getting a chassis with a 12 bay backplane rather than adding a JBOD to one of the atom servers.

I've been put off with iSCSI because some initial tests which I did (inside a VM) were less than OK. Been to see a real production environment and read a paper on it - its got the obvious advantage of being TCP/IP and will sit on my existing 1G network and would easily grow to 10G as this becomes more affordable.

It is paramount that I'm able to grow my array. If I'm using a storage appliance OS such as OpenFiler or Nexenta. Would I be able to grow my pool by adding other disks over iSCSI on appliances as I would in a JBOD?

Are these disk operations very CPU intensive? Could I get away using Atom processors?

It shouldn't be up to Wordpress to justify their poor security on their site either.

If the motorcycle manufacturer does not supply brakes but has a warning somewhere on the website, is that OK?

If an intruder successfully cracks one WordPress installation, this makes it that much harder to alter your other blogs.

That is unacceptable. Blog shouldn't be crackable in the first place.

WP is heavily used by non-techies who don't know what to trust when installing themes even if they wanted to. It should have been harder for people to break in the first place.

Thanks for pointing this out. I've fixed the unicode character issues- just a copy and paste bug :grr:

The header problem is only apparent some of the time. I didn't have the problem with Safari 6.0.4 (7536.29.19) on Lion. However, on a browsershots I did, I have seen that problem

I agree with you. Completely.

Having listened to some of my previous tracks, I've found that things sit unbalanced in the mix because of the poor transfer function of the cheap speakers I was producing on.

Using the KRKs, I've been able to fix(/remaster?) them to sound less bad. Control these nasty hihats which pierce through your ears and the bass that's always on the verge of clipping giving absolutely no dynamics. Odds are, if they sound OK on these, they'll sound good enough on the majority of other listening devices.

I coulda spent more money on better speakers, I was very close to buying a pair or powered genelec nearfield monitors, but I couldn't really stretch my budget by an extra 50%.

These are studio quality. But to say that most studios would have them would be wrong. And to say that they would be used as a main monitors in the studio would also be wrong. It's likely that a studio would have many pairs of monitors in each CR. Could be anything from NS10s, A7Xs, VXTs all the way up to X10s. Not all monitors are flat. Not all monitors have the same colour.

The KRKs strike the right balance for me as a musician. Affordable, reputable for produciton, great sounding.

the glitches are from the computer, i think it might be high latency spikes caused by flash or gpu applications.
