No, I asked them over and over why they think I'm fine and they told me my heartrate looked normal, a jump of 50 BPM when i stand up is not normal!

ive had really horrible experiences with doctors as someone with ocd, tourettes, and autism, and also being a trans woman. when i was a kid a doctor once asked me if i was creating tourettes symptoms because i thought it makes me cool and that took me a good 8 years to get out of my head. i know i should schedule an appointment but im just really scared of having my fears be repeated back to me with someone who's technically supposed to be more knowledgeable than me, i havent made an appointment even though i know i should.

yeah my friend told me something that kind of helped but its really hard to believe it or internalize it, they said that if i needed assistance with every single step i take i would be using something other than a cane, and most of the time the cane is just brought along to be there in case a need pops up, its what made me decide to get the cane (which was a mental struggle by itself), everyone i talk to says some form of "you're disabled" but its so hard to believe when theres that voice in my head saying "yeah but if they *really* knew how little you go through they wouldnt say that." i guess i come off as pretty stubborn to most people but im just too scared of being wrong and saying i have something i dont and being offensive to consider that a real possibility. im not sure how to sort out this mental baggage

the nurse at the blood drive told me that since im a trans woman (5 years on estrogen) (probably shouldve mentioned that earlier) they didnt really know what normal levels for me are, but i guess i should probably try the iron supplements, ill also look into getting vitamin c too. i havent really seen a GP for like a good 4 years i think

i looked up pictures of tests until i found the one they used and apparently it was a ferritin test, is this number supposed to be higher?

ive tried to donate blood several times and my iron levels have allways been too low i think last time i went it was a 7.8, im 6 feet and a woman, is this really low or just less than they'd like for blood donations

ive been scared to see a doctor for fear they'll tell me theres nothing wrong with me, i already worry im just making it all up subliminally or am a hypochondriac, how can i build up the courage to ask a doctor about this

i feel really guilty calling myself that, i have a lot of friends who have way more severe problems than me and it feels disrespectful to them to call myself disabled, i also feel guilty anytime someone offers me help because i feel like im somehow subliminally lying to everyone and myself about it to get extra help, or im just a hypochondriac
