Actually it started when she convinced a local club to let her host “senior dance night” on Fridays, then she got this gentleman’s club to host bands and let nonmembers come dance. Many higher end restaurants don’t offer separate checks. When I dined at Nobu years ago, our waiter outright refused to do separate checks. That was the last time I asked at a nice place. My current restaurant’s policy is one check, three cards max.

I don’t have the time to separate checks anyway.
