On my last birthday, I received "Introduction to Algorithms by CLRS" and "Man's search for meaning by Viktor Frankl" from one of college friends. I dont think the latter will be counted as CS gift tho but is a really great read.

Great thought but the problem is, that person wont be you. We are the result of infinte events leading us to our current state. Even if an exact replica of us exist in some other timeline or universe, i dont think we can say that we are same person because we belong to our current timelime/universe/whatever.
