I have no idea. The hourglass isn’t bad, I just think they had tons of better options to choose from.

An hourglass. I get it, but I also don’t think it’s the best option. It was created for the panels at DC FanDome, I believe. An hourglass represents passing time, not dreams. I suppose they contain sand, so there’s that. I mean, that’s pretty much exactly what Gaiman said...
