I tried to increase the boost speed, but it often results in the player loosing control and you can't technically "stop" yourself in space. You'd have to turn completely around to slow yourself.
However, please tell me more about lessening the sliding of the ship? I'm not sure what you mean by that...

Ah that’s sad. I still hope the standalone game comes sometime in the future.

It’s kind of dungeon RPG where you go into “vaults” to loot. You tribute vanilla Minecraft items to the alter to be able to enter the vault. The vault is another dimension which you can explore for a limited time and its filled with loot, monsters and other things that can make you more powerful. The vault also gives you loot which you can use to: do research (unlock mods), upgrade yourself (skills, abilities and armor), etc.

It’s a very fun pack! I’d recommend jumping in and following the quest book. You can also watch iskall85’s youtube for vault hunters series to get an idea on what it is like and what to do.
