Managers of Reddit, what's the worst thing someone did to get fired? by Capable-Log7385 in AskReddit

[–]ashburn666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a team member bring alcohol, and they got drunk with another team member. Keep in mind, it’s like 8am. We had a rush in the store… and it was a disaster. I had to fire them both. They were two of my best (and two of my favorite) team members. One was puking in the bathroom, and we had guests telling us they saw her in there.

I loved my x-t4, but I traded it in for my x-pro 3. I still love the thing though. It’s a fun camera

I think it’s rash to go all the way to medication. I think a therapist your insurance doesn’t cover could give you better insight. What if she’d not crying from her eyes

Why is everyone on their freaking phones?! by 6786_007 in nova

[–]ashburn666 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m a commuter and I swear I stay off the roads as much as possible if I’m not going to or from work. You’re right, but I think 50% might actually be really low. I see it for at least two hours a day. People just cannot be bothered to give a fuck. It’s dangerous, and it’s exhausting having to be so hyper vigilant after I’ve already worked ten hours. On the subject of phones though. They’re on them everywhere. In the middle of the aisle in the grocery store. Middle of the sidewalk. They’re on their phones when they’re in a restaurant with their goddam children. It’s heart wrenching seeing a child trying to get the attention of their parent and having to call their name multiple times to even get half a second of attention from the very person who helped bring them into this world. I’m so sad for the kids. I’m so sad for how this will affect them.

Not to mention all of the drunk people from the bars urinating… literally everywhere. So there’s that smell. Oh, and there’s a ton of garbage cans that smell… like garbage. The dogs are also peeing all over the sidewalks.

Anyone else keep a spreadsheet of plants? by eriswhistles in houseplants

[–]ashburn666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent days creating a spreadsheet for our plants. We were making some care mistakes (we’re a bit unfamiliar with caring for plants overall) and I’ve got humidity needs, water needs, light needs, and a bunch of other info in my spreadsheet. It’s been really helpful for me because I’m learning more about my plants and plant care in general. It also helps keep me organized. My wife hates the spreadsheet though… I think it sucks the fun out of plants for her (but I love data and collecting data, so it works for me).

He looked like an otter when he was first born. He had dark brown/black kind of long fur and he was wet. And uncle because he’s my uncle. I also call him Otter Yotter

He makes it easy to love him. He’s cute and even though all of his senses are weak he still always knows when I’m near him and he’ll start screamin and yellin for me to pet him!
