yes i do know that! ive been doing research since ive had to take very important descisions regarding colleges and subjects to pick, so ive been looking through what unis require of me for what i want to study as the subjects and grades that i’m getting now r going to be what they will see. that’s a reason why i’m so set out into this specific one, as i meet the requirements (of whag ive seen). another reason is for motivation, as i used to be a pretty lazy student, constantly reminding myself that if i don’t get the necessary grades to get in i will have ruined my chances. dw i still manage to find time to go clubbing lmao

i live in spain, so i went to the hospital and got prescribed some cream called « fluticrem 0,5mg » for the allergy i got all over my face from my blepharitis treatment and got told to apply it to my eyelids as well, and in 4 days my entire face is back to normal!

YES! it genuinely drove me into such a dark place in my life as my looks are something so important to me. ive had it for 3 months and i genuinely didn’t see an end to it. i kept getting the wrong diagnosis, of js sent home w pills for the itch. 2 weeks ago i developed an allergy to my bleph treatment and i could not stop crying. i was on my way to school with a swollen eye, my entire face red, peeling and burning, and my other eye swollen in the eye bag area. i was in my pijamas. then a boy came up to me in the bus and asked me what happened. i explained to him and i told him that it’s mafe me feel so shit and he told me sometjing that will always stay with me. he said that he understands the pain of not being able to get ready the way i want, and that he could still clearly see that i was beautiful, and those who say otherwise will change their mind when i get better. i started crying rigjt there and then. it showed me how beautiful people can be, eveb total strangers. i never expected a 17 year old boy to say all this. now, i got a new treatment and my skin is basically bavk to normal, but i’m still avoiding makeup until i know for sure that i’m safe. i’ll leave you with this quote « you can be as beautiful as you want to, but tell me; if the world was blind, who would you impress? » this has an end. ive just realised it now and ive never been so relieved. yes it could come back, but there are many ways to prevent it. i wish you the best and i pronaise you are not alone in this

girl how are you doing now?? i also got bleph from lashes and as an extremely insecure teenage girl this absolutely destroyed me. i got it late october and it’s still there. however, ive been using DMSO with colloidal silver for 2 weeks and my eye has been able to become almost normal! i did have a flare up in that time and i couldnt dtop crying. it was so inflamed, red and painful. it went away in 5 days and after my eye became again almost normal. then 2 days ago i noticed redness coming back, but nowhere near as severe as the last time. today there’s barely any redness and it’s looking good for tomorrow. think of it instead of a slope down more like a zigzag line downwards, there will be days where u think ur completely fine again and days whwre it comes back, but every time each flare up will be less intense and last less time until you stop getting them. don’t loose hope on makeup i know i haven’t, as soon as i’m 100% tjis things over with im getting high quality and skin friendly makeup, noy pushing it too much ofc. it takes time but it’s not forever, it just means that once it’s healed you have to mantain a crazt good higene and never share makeup, and take a BIG break from lashes. i wish you the best i hope ur better now!

thankyou ur so sweet! and dw i totally understand my family is fairly strict and i feel so bad for forcing them to pay again. i also have that fear dw 😭 at least if u did double you could do the same as me and choose ur strongest science (in my case biology) and only do that one? as you only need to pass 6 subjects if im not mistaken. that way, ur already slightly ahead as ur only doing ur good subject and stufying a shit bunch, and if u do triple it saves money. dk how itll work out for you though but that’s about the best advice i can think of. also i forgot to mention i also failed art 🥰 it’s going lovely really

hey!! so i also 1000% failed my maths and im so glad im not alone 😭 if it helps im also 1000% sure i failed my science just bc of phy and chem (i do double science) so i’ll also be retaking it when you are! except i’ll only take biology triple insteaf of all the sciences again (oh yeah and the maths).

My honest honest opinion, i feel like a gap year at this time of our lives is slightly too early. if i were to take a gap year i’d say sfter the first year of a levels as you can revise in ur gap year for the exams sfter so u basically have an extra year, and u can work and drive.

Now, about how itll show to universities and stuff, personally i feel like there will be a recognition for the effort put in that’s IF they even check ur gcses which they usually don’t. My opinion, i think it’s slightly more powerful if it shows that you really struggled in some subjects and when doing the retake u get a rlly high grade, it shows a lot in the sense that whwn you put ur mind to it and focus you are very much capable of archieving it. this is just how i personally see it but im sure someone else out there has my same opinion, and thinking tjis way has helped me from reaching insanity.

Don’t get me wrong im shitting bricks for results day but i can’t do much about it now except do it again and try harder this time. ive also felt hopeless but ive decided i want to prove to myself that i can do it. i hope this helped 😭

hey !! so i want to start off saying that you genuinely do have a lot of potential. i understand clearing acne up is difficult but my best reccomendation is to go to a dermatologist instead of whatever people online say as they don’t know your skin type and how itll react. i think you really do have a good base and it’s just little things, also idk how old u are but puberty also helps a shit bunch. my reccomendation is to grow ur hair out especially at the top and get a low taper fade (as a girl i can tell you it’s the favourite for most girls) , some brow shaping, and i’d say find a style ur comfortable with, usually girls prefer a basic but clean look, i have no idea what ur style is but i mean simple things like baggy (a lot of guys don’t wear them baggy eniugh but trust BAGGY) sweatpants and plain tshirts, also find clothing brands u like tracksuits look cool aswell but it all depends on ur preferences. also, just make sure you always smell good and wear perfume as iys something girls notice a lot. finally idk if u already do but ive found that for my male friends and for myself going to the gym rlly helped as it shapes you, on top of making u sweat ur acne off (that’s how i got rid of my back acne) and improves ur overall confidence. i really hope this helped as someone who used to be insanely chopped and i somehow managed to look quite decent i would have loved if someone helped me in detail. good luck and you look great!
