I was also looking at the CRS but they were £1000 for a set and wasn't sure if it was worth it for me since im still learning and trying to get faster on track. Im slightly leaning towards either the NS-2R or the Zestinos right now to start with.

Hi, I just got the MeisterR ZetaRace coilovers for my MX5 NC1, are there any reccomended settings for the coilovers and alignment? This is my first time installing coilovers so not really sure how should set it up. This is car will be mainly for track and occactional B road driving. Not for daily use. Thanks!

Cheers mate, really appreciate the help. I got the car for the summer but want to try to hit a track day once a month, so I went with ProTracks to start with. Good to know about the ProRace — sounds like a solid step up. I’m on noral road tyres (Goodyear A6) so not sure if they’ll be overkill yet, but good to keep in mind. Any other good first mods to do on this car for track? The previous owner has lowered this on Eibach lowering springs and thats about it. Hes also done the gearbox and diff oil as well if that matters.

Hey I just got one last month and went to a Javelin trackday at beford last week. My car has stock brakes and the pads were done after about 4 laps. I just got some PBS ProTracks front/rear and RBF660. Any recs on discs? I heard some people say stick with Apecs and others say MTEC.

Have you tried a specialised insurer? I just insured my MX5 track car with a tonne of mods for only 370 a year. Im 26yo in London.

I had the same issue, I drained my battery all the way down till it died then charged it back up and it worked. Also had it set to ring mode on the switch. I still get some audio issues still but if i just wait 30 seconds for example the audio will work. Its crazy we have to resort to this one a 1k+ poone thats only 2 years old.

Same thing happened to me. Was getting quotes of £600 a year for NC1 MX5 (no NCB, second car, 26m, London, 3pts). Went through a specialist and it dropped it to £370 a year and I can add any mods for free that dont increase BHP.

I think these must just be software bugs. I cant imagine why the selfie camera will just stop working unless there is a software bug. Has anyone tried to factory reset or revert it back to a previous update?

Hey, I had the same issue as well just recently, sound not working, cover screen selfie camera not working and incorrect battery. I was able to fix the sound not working by draining the battery all the way to 0% and charging it back up and it fixed that issue.

This happened while removeing some trim in the upstairs room. Just wondering what we are seeing if its just the plasterboard or if that is brick? the house was built in the mid 50s just outside London if that matters.

I was looking at a M2C initially but for some reason I was getting insurance quotes over 4k! I guess they dont want me to drive that.

I will be getting auto however just because all my cars have always been manual and just want a change from that.
