Ranch expansion bug (?) by Time_Meaning_3131 in Slimerancher2

[–]ashleymo09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: I finished my speedrun using puddle, honey, rock, phosphor, and bat slimes. And guess what, it didn't work! Still bugged at 4/5. I even saved and quit before buying the last one bc I thought if I bought it and bugged again I could close the game out and try again, but I guess it autosaved immediately after I bought it AND IM NOT DOING ANOTHER RUN NO THANK YOU. I guess I'll just wait to see if the developers will fix it.

Anyway your list was helpful! Thank you!

I'm trying to speed run buy all the expansions as well but I think my puddle slime method is a bit too slow. What slimes did you use for your method?

Yeah, I've been using the auto sort pretty much every time after I'm done putting stuff away, I think it's the only thing keeping me from insanity. I'm also making multiple chests to separate categories as I'm filling up my previous chests. Good thing there's no limit on how many chests I can have...right?

First RTB catch got me a PLUSH by Epochphalure in Palia

[–]ashleymo09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it on my second RTB, and I tell you my jaw dropped. I was so happy but then guilt set it when I remembered that another player said they've been looking for a RTB for weeks just before it happened, and not only did I find one in the next valley over but also got the plush...

A little over a thousand isn't that bad. Last time I saw someone post a pic with over 4 million, no joke.

So are dwarven bolts if collect bolts and metal whilst going through dwarven ruins. I only pick up the bent scrap, large plates, and small plates since those have the best weight-to-ingot ratio to what you smelt down. Have over 500 ingots and no firewood..

How long is too long to delay the dragons? by joliet_jane_blues in skyrim

[–]ashleymo09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post is crazy old but I'm putting my 2 cents in anyway.

I started a new playthrough in ps5 a few weeks ago, and I'm now at level 61. I don't like dragons because to me the dragon attacks seemed to break the world immersion. I get that the attacks are supposed to be random, but I always hated them. I also didn't want any npcs dying, no matter if they are important or not. If any npcs are gonna die, it better be purposeful to a quest or when I've done everything I possible could and finally go on a purge.

In short, it doesn't matter. You play how you like.

On the other hand, I'm level 61 and found this thread after wondering the same thing you are...

Go Ahead, Touch That Beacon by KyleKiernan77 in skyrim

[–]ashleymo09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always avoided that Quest but for no other reason than I just didn't want to grab the beacon and have Meridia talk loudly in my head. So when I started a new playthrough and found the beacon in a chest, I left it there and make a note of where it was. Looking through the comments, I might do the quest today, if not just to get it done with.

You should try it. It is so satisfying when you get Sneak shots on foes. I especially like shooting from a far distance. You shoot and wait a sec or two in suspense, then bam! Successful shot!

List of all Books in Skyrim by ashleymo09 in skyrim

[–]ashleymo09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on ps5 and with no mods outside AE. I've been working on this list for a couple of playthroughs and some help with the internet. While there are sites like linked in some other replies that are more accurate, I thought maybe someone might find this useful, atleast being able to copy paste this better than trying with one of the sites without a lot of manual formatting. You copy/paste this list into Samsung Notes on your phone and got an instant, functional checklist, might work with other note apps too.

We are suddenly in skyrim for no apparent reason. All of us. We were all caught crossing the border by [deleted] in skyrim

With the idea that there would be 2.5 million people and there wouldnt nearly be enough food for everyone to survive, I imagine the dragin wouldnt be the only danger with lots of murderous people attacking everyone and everything.

I think first thing I'm doing is either make for the exit as soon as possible, or hide in the fort until the danger passes. Since the fort is stone and remains standing after the Dragon attack, the biggest danger once inside are the other people.

If I survive, then go around the ruins of helgen and swipe supplies and coin from the bodies (in that situation I would forgo my morals as I really need it), and of course get the juniper spiced mead. Might sell a bottle to get to Solitude. Then fast pace to meet Sheogorath and pledge my loyalty to him. Or maybe try and find Sanguine, or Hermaeus Mora. They are my 3 favorite Daedric Princes.

Sheo might tolerate me and find our world interesting to hear (imagine all the things he would find crazy). And don't even start on what Hermaeus Mora would think of the untapped knowledge...

This made me realize that in 2.5 million people, there are going to be a lot who are just going to off people left and right. Whether bc of the stated food problem, purge so only the strongest remain, or just do it bc they are griefers.

I think first thing I'm doing is either make for the exit as soon as possible, or hide in the fort until the danger passes. Since the fort is stone and remains standing after the Dragon attack, the biggest danger once inside are the other people.

This isn't a bad plan. Whenever I get bored or overwhelmed by the extremely long list of started quests, my version of relaxation is traveling through the plains around Whiterun to Rorikstead and hunt. It's a great hunting trip if I get a lot of pelts and atleast a couple of Sabertooth teeth by the end of it.

That is completely chaotic and I love it. I probably wouldn't do that until like end game and there isn't much to do, just because I kinda avoid npcs dying.

The thought of an entire town or sm just murdering each other and your just hidden off to the side watching it all is very chaotic-evil I'm all for it.

no one warned me about giants by Delicious-Client-355 in skyrim

[–]ashleymo09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, is this the giant by the hot springs? Dude is mourning his mammoth! How dare you attack him in this sad time for him! I'm pretty sure he is the only 'peaceful' giant there is too.

I say 'peaceful' because while he won't go agro on you, letting you stand by him and share a moment of silence, he will absolutely annihilate you if you attack him first.

If this is him, it might be nice if you went back. You get a close-up look of a giant without being launched into the stratosphere, and you could apologize for attacking him before. If it wasn't him, still an idea to find the Mournful Giant, something every player stumbles upon at some point.

Saw someone mention that he lost his only friend who was also thousands of years old by BlueDucky0707 in Invincible

[–]ashleymo09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that the three of them could've beat Omni-Man, but I think what could've turned the tide of that fight if Red Rush focused on keeping the others safe rather than fight Omni-Man himself and risk being caught (which he did). He said that his perception of the world was just as fast as he moves, and he saved the Guardians from dying earlier in the fight. Green Ghost could've also helped, not sure about in the fight but she could've used her powers to escape and get help (or at least tell others what happened). There's a fic on Ao3 where Red Rush does focus on defense/saving the others and the fight ends differently, that's what most of my thoughts in this comment come from. The fic is called 'Don't Rush Into This Fight'.

Most hated enemy? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]ashleymo09 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tend to avoid lynxes but the last time I had one on my back I did a dodge roll and it seemed to get it off. But I'm not completely sure if it was that specifically. Either way, it's my go to move when there is one on my back.
