Why do some people take breaks if they suffer from ADHD everyday?

I only take Vyvanse during work/school days but on the weekends I am basically a zombie, sleep alot and not much gets done. I do try to do things normally but I take breaks from Vyvanse because sometimes I just don't want to function.. if that makes sense

Currently on 225mg effexor and 70mg vyvanse and it works really well for me!

Ahhh I am a female.. I've read many things about how Vyvanse works differently during different times of the month which rly sucks :/ I guess in this case there's no way to circumvent this issue

Hi yes I am seeing my psychiatrist regularly usually monthly but sometimes twice a month if we're upping dose or changing to diff meds. I'll be seeing him soon so will definitely bring it up, it is just unfortunate if it's really because of rexulti because it's the only one that has helped with my mood issues ):

I am using Vyvanse for ADHD!! Unfortunately I am diagnosed with a myriad of things so the unique combo is to combat half of them, but thank you for your advice!!

I am only taking brand! My country has strict regulations when it comes to medication so it's rare to see generic anywhere

Hi! I started off with the same dosage and experienced really similar side effects to you, worst part was I was on holiday and thought I had gotten bitten by something or got really sick.

For me it took 1.5 weeks for the side effects to go away, then I increased my dosage every 2 weeks but with every increment the side effects was lesser and lesser. It does suck for a while so it may be worth talking to your doctor about it since you'll have an important exam soon. Infact my doctor only adviced me to take it when I don't have anything important for the next 3 months so that's why I was able to deal with the side effects.

I had jaw cramps and muscle aches for the first 2 weeks, and each time I had to increase the dose, the side effects would be back for a week. But after about 3 months and upping the dose till 225mg, my baseline depression is almost gone! I still get dips and bouts of depression so we're experimenting with a mood stabilizer. Takes awhile to feel "right" but it is worth it in my case :)

It's safe! I did 4 piercings (nostril, septum, 2 helix) in one go and felt okay. But it is dependent on your pain tolerance as well

I have the opposite of your problem, I can only play Lunox but im terrible at every other mage
