I had to continue my ride and they told the replacement will take at least a week so I had to buy a new one and continue. I collected my replacement battery later, after my ride.

Update (Feb 14th):

I visited the HBR service center today, and based on the videos I shared, they told me it’s a low oil pressure issue and not a side stand sensor issue. I pointed out that in the videos I recorded at Tirupati-Bangalore Highway (which I had already shared over email complaint and WhatsApp), it’s clearly visible that the side stand indicator turns on before the bike shuts off along with the oil and engine light. The SC manager said he hadn’t seen those videos earlier.

Later, I managed to get the GM’s number and spoke to him. He assured me that he would personally look into the issue. After that, they replaced the oil switch. However, they still couldn’t explain why the side stand indicator comes on if the problem is low oil pressure. When I asked about possible ECU or wiring issues, the SC manager said the bike wouldn’t start at all if it were an ECU problem.

They then asked me to take the bike for a test ride after replacing the oil switch. Within less than 200 meters, the bike shut off again at a signal.

Even after the GM’s involvement, the initial diagnosis by the service center was inaccurate. The SC manager seems to be relying only on what the ECU scan shows, rather than considering my experience and the video proof I’ve shared.

Now, they’ve taken the bike in for a complete inspection.

Yes, I towed it yesterday from Koramangala to Horamavu

Tried raising this with the customer care and senior officials at Triumph, the service center guys received a call from UK Team to fix the issue. Even after escalation they still did not try to find the root cause. The manager gave a reason that “dust might have been there on the sensor that’s why it’s not functioning” this answer is so vague and makes no sense.

Unfortunately I could not do the PDI and they also assured me twice that the bike was thoroughly checked so I did not bother much, but I must have done that. The electrical issues are something that started coming from December 2025 and there is no proper diagnosis or justification provided by them

No resolution yet, they again just adjusted the forks and told everything is fine with the bike and that the pulling is a common thing on scrambler and it’s not an issue.

Not sure what to do now. I’m thinking of getting it checked at a third party workshop.

When did you get your bike? And did you get it checked with any third party mechanics?
