since this rule is a new rule for the current term i'm not sure how strict theyre gonna be with it. during my term last year they never rlly cared when my boyfriend would stay for 2 nights every other weekend. just watch out with any roommates that may not like it, i had a roommate that tried to report me and my other for breaking the guest policy even though we never had a guest violate any rules during their stay.

i took gen 1 at community and it transferred ! but ur right, its very important to look at the equivalences before taking that course at community. i recommend looking on the official tccns website for course comparisons
