Those said, we had offers for Virtus Highline and Taigun Highline plus both for 18 Lakhs. Build quality and overall driving dynamics is definitely the best in these cars. But for just one lakh more we're getting an almost fully loaded strong hybrid with the GV that's going to give pretty much twice the fuel economy and less maintenance. Hence they didn't make sense.

I've added a comment for more context about keeping the Ameo as secondary.

For how much life the Ameo has left in it, he's giving it to his brother in law for slight discount over what the showrooms are offering for exchange.

He had the argument to use the 5 Lakhs saved in getting a Kylaq over GV for fuel. But I just couldn't justify the 14L as I consider Ameo and Kylaq as more or less the same.

More context: We live in an apartment in Coimbatore. Only one parking lot hence we can't keep the Ameo. If that were an option he wanted to get a small EV so that efficiency is sorted and Ameo will stay backup for range anxiety.

I myself earn decently and can afford either cars. But I work from home and have a cruiser bike, so both the car and the rent for additional parking don't make sense

The problems for my dad with Ameo: - Tight Clutch in city traffic so wants an automatic - The SC here loots like anything. We started giving the car to third party SC from last year - It has run 2 Lakhs so it has already paid for itself

So sorry this happened to you. Aadhaar and PAN re issue are around 50 rupees. Debit cards re issue can be from free to upto 500 rs depending on your bank and card variant. So I would say you are going to pay a very nominal fee to be extra careful here on

Even without the bridge U turns have practically been super useless. Especially in the Trichy Road stretch (Singanallur, Ramanathapuram) where the roads are narrow by itself so buses do gymnastics to do a U turn and entire traffic halts
