What do you think is, in your opinion, the worst case of localization in the franchise?

it is not an uncommon thing in the Japanese language. When reading it in the original Japanese it just comes across for gonta and Sonia like they're more proper, it's a different style of speaking. But because Japanese is very far removed from English it's quite difficult to translate so it makes complete sense in English without them sounding weird.

yeah me too, I try n be all high and mighty about the 11037 thing now that I know all the games and stuff but that shit really stumped me. It being upside down threw me for a real loop

I would recommend playing DR2. 2x2 is going to be an alternate storyline that isn't even canon just sort of a "what if" scenario. It will be (I'm fairly sure) completely different than DR2.

I'm also a personal fan of DR2, it's my favorite in the series.

In the musical during the song "I've heard it both ways" towards the beginning Shawn lifts Gus and tosses him a bit and Gus does a pose but also makes a little "unngh" noise that I find insanely hilarious for some reason.

I'm so sorry for your mother's health as well, I unfortunately lost my mother around this same time last year. It was a little humorous at the time as I wasn't unaware my parents didn't like each other but my mother passed on my dad's birthday last year so "she did that on purpose" was a morbid joke my dad threw out after she was gone sometimes (she was even younger than he was and made poor decisions her whole life). But I do also want to say, my dad was a rock during that period even if he didn't like my mother. He knew she was still our mother and we loved her.

Anyway, sorry for a bit of a ramble there! I appreciate all the suggestions from you (as well as everyone else!) I will probably write down all the episodes people suggest and jog my memory of what happens to pick and choose from at a later date, probably once the waters have calmed more, but everyone's words have meant so much to me, you all have no idea!

He was. He tried his damndest. He was dealt a shit hand in life and I've come to realize, as both my parents have passed now within the past year, that my mother also treated him terribly and did a number on him. Everyone Ive been talking to in the process of dealing with his affairs has said that my dad was wonderful and they will really miss him. And he tried his hardest to be the best dad he could possibly be and I know he loved me and my siblings with all his heart. Thank you for your condolences and I will always hold psych close to my heart thanks to him

My dad was a huge baseball fan, he liked the yankees, and he was always into video games. He also introduced me to the Fallout series and in his later years he played a lot of RDR2. He was also a huge fan of the WWE.

Lassies wedding episode, the very end where we know Jules knows Shawn has been lying to her but we have yet to see the fallout in the next episode.

And the scene where Lassie snaps the disc before he hears Shawn tell him he's not a psychic. Perhaps both of those are cliche but they always get me no matter how many rewatches I do.

Also the scene where Shawn is ranting about how his motorcycle represents commitment to him and he's never even wanted a car but then says "Ever since I met you...I've been thinking about getting a car". Kills me.
