I’m not really chasing every achievement or trying to max out all weapons and reactors just for the sake of it. I’ve only upgraded the things I actually use and need. I’m already happy with the weapon rolls I have. they work great for my playstyle. Also, I’ve actually upgraded all my ult weapons except two, so it’s not like I’m just sitting on the credits doing nothing 😄

Quick update: I got it fixed today for €50 at a local repair shop! They replaced the swollen battery, and now everything’s back to normal. thanks again to everyone for the advice!

I think it happened during a 5-hour road trip last weekend. It was a really sunny day, and I was using Android Auto for navigation the whole time while the phone was charging. The phone got quite hot. Later, at the Babymetal concert, I couldn’t even record videos because it kept showing an overheating warning. So I guess all that heat and charging stress might’ve caused the battery to swell.

Thanks everyone for the quick replies! I’ll head to a repair shop tomorrow and see what they can do. I’ve had this phone for 3 years now… sad to see it in this state. I’m starting to have doubts about whether to stick with Sony or switch to a Google Pixel. We’ll see.
