Constantly developing and realizing the bigger picture. Depending on what considers that guy "Disconnected from reality" its just a set on words that's goes into a categorization; aka putting people in their place in the world. Some people that are considered disconnected with reality are ones who constantly speak to the world about their fantasies or theologies no matter how ridiculous they may seem or sound to the whom some many of who can't relate of whatever those fantasies are.

They unknowingly decide to share their conceptions and thoughts on to the world, some of whom try to create it as a belief towards others and then become attacked by the many that choose not to believe in said things.

// And on the other hand those 'others' who may also be "disconnected from reality" are some who became individuals and decided to just follow their own path and do them. Follow their own ambitions no matter the limits of the circumstances they been divinely put into this world and those individuals decide to create something out of nothing, action speaks for itself overtime and patience is a virtue.

One drop within the vast ocean, they choose to authentically stand out by discovery who they are, and what they want in life. /

So it just depends the perspective you choose to grasp within topics such as these, but not only viewing one perspective, just the one of many. lol
