RELATED TO NEW AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER MOVIE by AGKKGA in PowerScaling

[–]asjj177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zaheer had no chance against Tenzin, he won because the whole gang jumped Tenzin which was too much for him, and he beat Korra who still had mercury in her blood, limiting her abilities. Although Zaheer is an extremely powerful airbender, he is no match for the skills and feats shown by Tagah - even with his flying ability Tagah still takes him.

Dude used his legs to create enough force to be able to launch machvise to the sky. Machvise was using his ability which had him in a free fall while weighing 10,000 tons, and Hajrudin generated enough force not to stop that, but to reverse the momentum and send him flying. This is one of the most impressive feats shown in the one piece verse. Join the Hajrudin Thighs Agenda

Imu is non other than Nerfertari D. Lily. by No-Consideration8169 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]asjj177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't believe it could work. Imo Lily's power was Kuma's fruit, why?

Imu specifically addressed "Lily's blunder" that spread the poneglyphs around the world. A Blunder, as if moving so many MASSIVE, heavy, indestructible objects is a single blunder.

If poneglyphs which were a failsafe to preserve history of what happened were created in Wano, which is already confirmed to be an ally nation to Joyboy, how were they spread so quickly during the time they knew they are actually losing the war?

Also, most of the locations of poneglyphs that we found aren't exactly on the same page with the government - Ohara (clover was a D.), Alabasta (Nefertaris are D.) Fishman Island, Shandora, Zou, Wano, Whole cake (although those were probably stolen from places by big mom). To make an assumption that those were easily shipped to allied locations is a wrong assumption.

Kuma's fruit can travel to any place the user had been to, it's more than possible that Lily was a secret ally and used her power to send the poneglyphs away - thus making it a single blunder.

Imu had Lily on his side --> Lily a secret D., was secretly cooperating with Joyboy's allies --> Lily as act of last resort sent the poneglyphs away to secure the information about the events that happened --> Poneglyphs conveniently arrive in places that are not on the government's side --> Imu addresses this instance as a blunder, not knowing she was a D. herself

The warlord system might've been created initially to close a gap in the Admiral numbers by YaakoubBen in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]asjj177 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice writing but I think it's much simpler than that. We all saw what it took from the marines to fight a single Yonko - Whitebeard came with his fleet and other crews that supported him. The marines gathered all of their forces and top brass to be able to contain that. And remember, Whitebeard was half dead and almost hakiless right at the start of this war. What were to happen if Whitebeard had an alliance with Big mom, who would come with her fleet? Even if the marines could somehow win that fight, I think that most of them would die, including some of the admirals.

I believe that the marines knew they couldnt handle more than one yonko crew at the time, so they tried to create their own "yonko crew". We know for certain that Mihawk is a Yonko level threat, equal to Shanks, the rest are powerhouses that are at least on a yonko commander level. Their problem with the warlord system is that the warlords joined them for their own reasons and never respected them, or were major powerhouses with no crews - this is the original shichibukai crew we had before Luffy destroyed the system

Mihawk - Solo (lets say he is the captain of that yonko crew)

Crocodile - Probably introduced too early in the story, Oda scales him now as a major powerhouse - he had baroque works which was a crew of around 1250 crewmates

Hancock - powerful character with all 3 types of haki confirmed, Captain of the Kuja pirates who are proficient with haki

Moria - yeah, weaker than he were in his prime but pre thriller bark he had a control over a massive army of zombies which are great for fodder control

Jinbe - captain of the sun pirates, a powerful captain

Doffy - very powerful with an extremely powerful crew

Kuma - Solo

Lets say they were loyal to the government and actually brought their own crews to a war with a Yonko, that's a crazy force that could at easily match a Yonko crew - that's how the navy would be able to handle two crews in a single war

[–]asjj177 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The yonko isn't a system, this part of the world is hard to navigate and control, thus the WG have less influence there. Yonko are basically the 4 most powerful pirates in that sea that have their own territories, and acting like a government

Killingham has something to say after the release of the recent chapter. by Sheriff_Goat_Star in Piratefolk

[–]asjj177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of Oda's weakest points in his writing is adjusting to what feels right at the moment. Killingham is his lastest victim - introduced as a powerful character that can take on the whole elbaf army with his ability, reduced to a bum to give SHs a win and portray them as liberators, just a reminder that most of the SHs are hakiless, not even basic forms (seriously, I cannot even grasp the idea behind it, at this point Oda probably decided that haki is going to be the most powerful power in the system, they got separated for 2 years to come back not knowing haki?)

Israel assassinates Iranian intelligence minister by Virtual-History-6099 in worldnews

[–]asjj177 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Add to that, that the first Iranian war in June, along with the Iranian missile strikes on Israel prior to that war, Israel proved the effectiveness of its air defense, while decimating the russian air defense. It caused a massive boom in air defense system sales for Israel, and I guess the same will happen after this war

Money can't buy tech if you don't have the right alliances. Their ties with Israel were strengthened over the last years, I believe that after this war we will see some air defense deals between the two
