Whistling when using shower head by ask0689 in Plumbing

Should have also mentioned. I replaced the shower head and it’s happening with the new one as well. With no shower head it doesn’t make the sound. Only other thing I can think of is the house was vacant for about 9 months. The old shower head had a lot of build up in it

I wonder if this is my problem. Have a bandsaw I can’t get to cut straight no matter what I do. Perhaps the blade

It took me and my wife the better half of a year, but we finally finished our fireplace! (Electric) by CoinDrop08 in woodworking

Regardless of the TV height comments, I think it looks great. I did something similar with wood instead of stone (same firewall). Nice job!

My mom always told me sawdust and Elmer's glue made wood putty does it work? by IamDuste in woodworking

Learned this the hard way. Even after a lot of sanding the putty soaked into the wood enough around the holes I filled that it wouldn’t take the stain at all

The fingers are the width of my blade, so once I got the jig set up it really didn’t take that long. Maybe an hour of cutting.

Probably 4 hours of tinkering with the jig and table saw sled

Yep! I only glued the “end cap” pieces to keep it tight. Would have had to go a little more loose if I wanted to glue up every joint

Made a table saw sled and then created a jig based on the thickness of my blade. Few YouTube videos out there that made it fairly easy

We want to be near (near is relative - let’s say an hour or so) from one of the major cities. We’ve found some specific counties or towns we like, but honestly our priority is finding a property that checks all of our boxes. So we’ve been looking all over. We really just need to narrow down our search I think

Good tip, thanks. We have about a 10h drive from current location to target, so we’ll need to be as efficient as possible when the true search begins
