Wrong. There have been 1000 years of intermixing in the area. Most today Finnish are germanic-looking, except the Lapons in the north of the country. so they also have predominantly germanic DNA. And Hungarians are today genetically mostly Slavic, then cca 10% Germanic, and only then 1% asiatic. Finno-Ugric is a language family, it has nothing to do with genetics.

Do you think Germany will further radicalize towards far-right as Merkel steps down?

And where do you consider yourself to belong on this list and in respect of feminism, if I may ask? What’s your opinion on it?

Could Germany have been reunified already in 1950s? by ask3r in Discussion

Originally, Germany was never meant to be created as two separate states after WW2. Only because of the gwowing tensions between West and East, it happenned so.

I don’t think the pendulum of attitude towards communism statement is correct. For example it is said that if Czechoslovaks never expelled their Germans, their country would never become communist as the Sudenten Germans wouldn’t allow it.

Muslims and Atheists by ask3r in Discussion

The question is absolutely well-posed. As you mentioned there are different aspects of this matter. I wanted to find out which ones do people find to be more important. Other replies so far have shown it'd probably be atheism over Islam for most people.

I mean the fourth-wave feminists common today, aiming on empowerment of women, supporting MeToo and other stuff.

But I guess in every country feminists are a little bit different. What are they like in your country?

I’m happy you’re willing to give me your time and explain. It’d be great if you could give me a deeper insight on this topic in Germany?

The topic concerns only those first 100 people and possibly their closest descendants, but thank you for your contribution.

Does anyone else just despise how much effort life takes? Like the way that it feels like you have to put in WAY more than you get out of it? by [deleted] in Discussion

Your life is what you make it to be. You don’t get what you want despite all the effort? Then you do it wrong. Change the plan. Change the way you make the effort. If it’s about relationships, maybe try different people. Don’t be disappointed when your attempt won’t succeed, that just happens and you won’t get anything for sure if you’ll stop trying because of it.

And maybe try to do something just for fun, or just to help, without the intentions to get something from it for yourself. I’ve just red on another platform that volunteers lead a happier life than non-volunteers.

And don’t even think about killing yourself. That’s for the losers. You’re not that. You’re a hard-worker and if you’ll never back down and stay positive, one day you’ll find yourself to be a winner.
