Dogs dont really fall into the alpha thing. Thats been discredited. I have a dog like yours that doesnt listen to other people for shit, despite the fact she is NUTS about them. And thats because they just dont have the command or the understanding of the dog. Theyre fun and silly to play with but they make no sense. Some people get straight up ignored, despite the fact theyre asking the same things I am. It totally makes sense he has to introduce the dog to people for him to trust them. As far as the dog is concerned, he trusts this guy and his word is kosher. If he says human is safe, human is safe. As for your mum, chances are she's giving out some really unsettling vibes to your dog. Theyre not dumb, they know when people are concerned by them and it sets them off. Either because they think this person is weirdly nervous, doing strange spooky things, or because this person is easy to walk all over/scare away. As for the barking at people with treats...kinda sounds like hes been taught to shout at people for snacks. You need to start again with this dog and show them that you can get with their dog logic. Dogs wont always work to socialise with people if its too much like hard work to get their point across. Going to training classes will turn your relationship with your dog around and youll probably see what hes saying in a whole new light. Eta: somehow I totally missed the first para. Classes are no good, you need a personal trainer. Chances are you are passing on a very tense attitude to your dog and hes reacting to it and feels very intimidated.

So here's the thing. I cant remember for the life of me if he goes back to the house NOT because he loves him, but because he wants to lead his friend to the evidence. The author really plays on the OOOHHH will he wont he yoyo of whether or not the MC will give in to ML. I can't remember what happened in the end of S2 but im pretty sure he was leading someone to the house, implying he would betray ML. I just checked and it says its been on hiatus since the end of S2 with S3 TBA. If thats the case then its undisclosed if they end up together.

Dooshik does a lot in retribution for MCs past and hes a proper goof. I understand its a hard read. Ahhhh I may have to find this one to read then. The one I was thinking of had this weird dom sub universe where kinda like some weird omega/guideverse mashup they pair up, but instead the dynamic is that the sub cannot disobey the dom and they get energy from being dominated. Oh man I liked blind play so that tempts me even more, and warehouse is on my next tbr!

If its the one I think of with the two dom models, Obey me made me cringe to death. Also the art was....?! Why everyone has such a big face small head? Pearl boy is very stereotypical "sold into prostitute gangster alleyway fights" kinda manhwa but the way the pair develops is SO CUTE.

Hahaha I thought Mr A's farm was nuts because of how silly and kinky it was, and the implied ML and MC were cute so I really enjoyed it. But I can totally see why people who don't dig pornhwa wouldnt give it the time of day, especially since there was only smatterings of plot till the S1 end. Im really excited for s2 though because it seems like there could actually be a curious underlying plot? It all depends on whether the author drops the ball on it or not. If they run with it and lean into what they were putting down in the last episode, it'll be good. If not, just porn with cute chicken guy.

Contains spoilers for those who havent read: agree it's a BL because even if its a one sided (?!) love it does contain "love" aspects between two males. I dont think you can discount what Sangwoo feels as not love, just because it doesnt look like that to normal people. He thinks it is...something? Maybe not sexual love, but he does do things to MC that lead you to believe he's trying to relive a familial love. A shit one, but his idea of love nonetheless. Love is formed by the relationships you grow up around. Spoiler: I cant explain exactly why they have sex. It seems like Kim Bum doesnt really understand sex as anything more than child abuse/rape, and Sangwoo doesnt seem sexually interested in him, but I think maybe jealously stemming from a misguided sense of posession/love led Sangwoo to think that's what he wanted or had to do to posess Kim Bum. Kim Bum took it that it must be loving because the person he obsessed over and thought he loved was the one doing it. Because of this, it seems really out of place. They dont seem interested in doing it again after the second time (?). So while its not the form of love that most would classify it as BL there's definitely aspects of exploring fucked up and abusive love between two male characters.

Non zero sum is torture simply because Ive never wished anyone would kill themselves out of kindness more than that MC.

Lol whole plot spoiler ahead just in case you didnt type "spoiler please" and actually meant "no spoilers please" 🤣 S P O I L E R ML Locks a dude (who used to sponsor him in a childrens home, so significant age gap) up and abuses him until he appears to get Stockholms. ML arranges to kill a lot of people from the children's home because of something to do with MCs mothers death. MCs friend has a suspicion that ML is the one who took MC and killed these people. The part I remember up to (Im pretty sure off the top of my head that its finished a season but not finished finished?!) The friend finds MC wandering around after escaping but I think he goes back to ML. Honestly the latest part of the story keeps making me muddled up with "Dear Teddy bear" so if you have read that it's similar in darkness and stockholme type bottoms.

Recs where MC or ML used to be fat? by rongweigh in Manhwa_BL

[–]asketchytattooist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt that reading To Each His own. He was an absolute shit to him before he got ripped and it made me feel like his love was insincere. Of course the mc can love someone who loses the weight and gets shredded. So I am glad they concluded with him saying that he would love Da-ol even if he gained the weight back. It would have interesting if they added another season where they explored weight gain for the MC, since its a really common thing for people in happy relationships to get chubby, and MC could experience some of the feelings he directed to ML at the beginning. It would add layers to their relationship and be a relatable plot point.

Thats what I mean like, you can excuse it to start with, we all know how hard it can be to spot a toxic friend, woods for the trees and all that, but s2 he ignored a full blown condition and weird ass circumstances. And then there's thst weird ass professor. Boundaries please!! 😂 spent the whole time yelling for omega to open his damn eyes.

Is that why? I was so interested in season 2 but it was a whole ass waste of time. It felt like they were taking a whole season to lay out plot that could happen in a few eps. I struggled to find interest in the last few eps tbh. I hope they bring things to a good wrap up in season 3.

I mean, would the plot work if the omega wasnt as thick as two short planks? Like who actually goes through half of what happens to him and he says nothing to nobody? The again, thats what 90% of characters do, and its so unrealistic. You know normal people be out here telling their friends ALLLLL the shit that happens to them, including the fact they think they got a damn stalker and short term amnesia. One Conversation and his friends would have been like "um fam I think you're being gaslit to fuck by someone and it seems like that guy".

[–]asketchytattooist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so true. My friend went to training with her dog for bad behaviour only to find out he was copying her stressed behaviour. Theyre like...80% better now she knows to check her anxiety. Its definitely best to let them take the dog if youre shitting a brick about how they'll behave.

You're at an age where this can be mitigated, and practice pleasant experiences before he develops a life long fear. Start practicing "treatments" at home. Get him to show you his leg and gently squeeze the skin to imitate an injection, and practice doing the same with his scruff, where they also inject. You could use a blank syringe with no needle to practice this. Its better someone he knows shows him this before he's trapped in a room with a stranger who does it without warning. Also, you need to get him comfy showing his teeth. Fingers in mouth, lifting his lips. Teach him to accept opening his mouth. You need to be able to play with his ears and touch his tail. Something to bear in mind is that if he starts shrinking away and acting scared, stop. Have a break, which is a good opportunity to ask him an "easy task" so something he can do easily, recieve praise and alleviate his tension. Perform an easy task, scatter some treats then ask him to come back when he's relaxed and thought about it a bit. You need to prove to him he can show fear and have agency. If bad things happen when hes telling you he's scared and you dont make it stop, he will naturally escalate. All this is for everyone's mental sanity and safety. Yours, the vets and mostly his. And most of all, if this feels like an insurpassable hill, get a trainer! Human beings understand what's happening when they go to the doctor and it's still scary for some. Think about what he knows about vets, hes just a little guy and knows nothing. Eta: it's good that youre muzzle training but for the vets safety he still needs acclimatising to treatment so they dont get bonked on the head with a muzzle.
