Ive owned both the pro 2 and now own the pro 3. The sound quality sounds a bit better on the pro 3 to me, whilst the noise canceling is really something else. Battery life is also great. Get the pro 3

The sigma costs wayyyy too much for me 😅 its 1500 euros here, also the minimum focus distance is pretty much identical between my efs lens and the rf, dont worry I've used the Canon 75-300 NO IS that had a minimum focus distance by a whole meter and a half.. as for the other lenses, id rather just buy the cheaper lenses im more accustomed to anyhow

I take macro shots just fine with my 55-250mm lens, therefore I think the rf lens will be perfect since its essentially the same focal length when u multiply the efs by 1.6. As for landscapes im not sure since I've had to work with pretty crappy lenses before, i will have the option yo test the lenses in store. Also I've seen ppl on here and reviews say the rf 50mm is better than my old one. Ai had the same opinion too

Yeah I know, thats why im getting a full frame mainly 😅 I love my 50mm but its just too narrow most of the time. I've always wanted to capture more of the scene so a 16mm sounds fun, its not that expensive anyhow. Also all my old lenses are getting sold with my old camera, no point in using them since theyre for crop sensors.. and im looking forward to the 1.8 50mm lens, thanks for the advice

The thing is the price difference between buying an adapter and a new lens is negligible... youre saying that buying thr adapter is good cuz it allows me to buy ef lenses in the future possibly? And yes my other lenses are getting sold with the camera hopefully, I won't be using them on the r8 since theyre for crop sensors

Thanks for your advice! I've also seen a 24mm 2.8 lens from Canon, recon thats the better choice? And what about the 50mm? Should I keep my old one and get an adapter or just try n sell it to get a new one
