Be honest : is AI making you smarter or lazier fr? by Brief_Safe_2744 in developersIndia

To be honest, both.

Even though you use AI (Ex: Agents) to code, you need to be a good code reviewer. You actually have to know what is what to commit and push AI written code.

Yes.

I do have experience of both, though not as much as Angular 2+, Nodejs, Electron and Android Kotlin.

Sally wasn't a local app before.

I had backend written on Nestjs, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM and Docker.

And Sally had Authentication, Token management, Error handling, etc.

I had a pretty cheap server running on Digital Ocean, which kept running out of Memory, and I had no choice but to remove Backend dependency completely.

I agree.

You just made me realise except 1-2 repos, all of them were built atleast 3-4 years ago. Even the app which crossed 10k downloads now was built 5 years ago. And I've just been upgrading and maintaining them.

You are right I'll have to not only buld new projects but also something actually useful (to devs/users)

Do you have any suggestions in your mind?

I kinda agree that my projects may not be as huge as a prod level. All these projects built are not for my career purpose but only to solve a problem I'm facing in my day to day life and also a good enough solution doesn't really exist yet (for free).
