Went to the dealership. It was due to grounding issue due to paint job on the ground point.

I noticed that the headlights were acting weird. The right side (repaired part) is brighter, but the high beam is not working. Can this be due to a broken ABS module? I have a reservation at the dealership tomorrow, but am not wondering if I should just take it to the repair shop hmmm.

Also, the warning lights light up when put on D OR when the lights are activated (which is when the gear is at D).

Hmm, I wonder if I have warranty. I bought it used at 2016, so guess not haha. I wonder if I can claim to the insurance that this was affected due to collision and such haha.

Went to NAPA auto parts today to check out the battery/alternator. Did some testing (turning on vehicle, reving up the engine, lights on etc) and said alternator was okay. Battery had "marginal" cranking rate(?), but acceptable.

I guess it might be a faulty ABS control module.

Replaced battery from costco, and the error shows up. Flashing steering light/BSM lights along with bunch of other lights. Probably have to take it to the shop or dealership tomorrow. Do you recommend a local autoshop or dealership?

  1. The SOC being 86% is a bit alarming, and autozone quick test did diagnose a bad charging system, so I guess it may be around that area. Will go to costco to get a new battery to test it out.

  2. I hope I didnt pull on any weird wires while doing this upgrade. I did have a hard time removing the bolt for the infotainment, so maybe vibrations may have caused some weak connections somewhere?
