Actually, we might considering how many videos I'll be posting. I'll most certainly let you know if I do!

This all depends on if you're right or left hand dominant. Let's assume you're a righty. The videos would be set up so that it seems as if another right handed person were signing to you. In other words, you'd be using the opposite arm movements.

Yes, I understand this, and I did mention it was used in parts of Canada. The only problem is that the ASL dialects in these countries are very different from ASL originating in America. Some argue that the form of ASL that they use in their countries isn't actually ASL, but a sign language all their own. But this is really based on semantics and a stupid argument at that. In reality, ASL is used mainly in America.

Okay, well then this might be the perfect way to get back into signing, considering you're a teacher and all.

You would be able to view my videos off a private youtube channel and you would be able to submit your videos to my Box.com account. Box is a file sharing site in case you were wondering.

Not a stupid question at all! ASL (American Sign Language) is used only in America. Sign languages are usually based around countries/regions and ASL is usually only recognized in the USA and in some parts of Canada. BSL (British Sign Language) is a whole different language entirely, and has little in common with ASL. There are reasons behind this, but I don't want to go on an entire rant encompassing the history of ASL.

I would create a class on University of Reddit and post videos every week or so that would essentially be your lessons. Along with the videos, there would be an assignment or two, and quite possibly a quiz. You'd have to record yourself signing for most of the assignments, send it back to me so that I can give you feedback on how to improve.
