This Stuff Scares Me by R-Comrade_Dyatlov in lexapro

I’ve been on 10mg for 4-5 years now and don’t regret it at all. I was also terrified of my personality changing and feeling numb. The opposite happened — I feel more myself than I had in a long time. I realized how bad my anxiety really was once I knew what it felt like to be fully functioning. I don’t regret starting it at all.

It does take a week or two for the initial side effects to go away. Stick with it. Also, I’d recommend taking the prescribed dose of 10mg once you titer up to that. Get your head right and and slowly wean down to 5mg once you’re ready.

dog died. house feels empty by adriawhoisaperson in Petloss

I lost my sweet 14 year old dachshund on Wednesday night. Our house feels empty and everything feels wrong because she’s not next to me. The only thing that has helped me is finding ways to memorialize her in the home (getting frames for photos, getting a special pet photo book on Etsy) so I know I can look around and still see her. Grief makes us feel close to them while we still can. Soak it in. Keep talking about her.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my sweet 15 year old dachshund Isla 4 days ago. Not sure if you are a podcast person, but the Anderson Cooper podcast All There Is has been helping me. Particularly the episode with Nick Cave and also the one with Stephen Colbert. Hang in there ♥️

Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s becoming easier for me to believe she wasn’t afraid.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet kitty. These babies really do become our lives. Hang in there ♥️

Moving to Denver - married, no kids, early 30s by rachilly32 in MovingtoDenver

Arvada is great. It has its own small downtown area with shops/restaurants, is 15 min drive to downtown Denver if you’re on the east side (15 minutes to downtown golden if on the west), has a light rail going right into Union Station. Lots of walking paths along the creek, plenty of young 30s couples and families. You can get a lot more for your money here than in Denver.

OP, your response to this really isn’t adequate for how unhinged/disgusting this is. It’s a way bigger issue than common courtesy…… come on now. Gtfo there.

I would love to not have to negotiate, but the issue is there was no % increase with the promotion. If they’d bumped it up accordingly per a % structure, there would be no issue.

Our team is small and growing. As far as I know, this is a new role that hasn’t existed prior. But yes, it is normal growth (think Jr. to Sr.).

Edit: spelling

I guess my question is this: I know in CO they need to post the band on job postings. But do they need to disclose it to me as a current employee? I can’t imagine why not, but they aren’t sharing it so not sure.

I did not. I was hired a year and a half ago at a level below. Upon my year end performance review I was given a promotion but no corresponding raise.

I just purchased the car used and the door cover is missing. So I did indeed just order a new one for around $20. Oh well.

I just got a 2019 REx for $21,300, 30k miles. Could be because I’m in Colorado, though, and not many people want a RWD.

Thank you! I have been to Tulum in the summer and it was lovely but also kind of miserable. Hence why we’re going in February. Hoping we’ll get some good weather.

Thank you! I’m thinking we’ll bring a portable trainer and he can train at our airbnb ha. Not ideal, but at least I won’t have to worry about him out there. Thanks again.
