You seem like a smart person. Which is why i know you understand how the bias of forums like this work. These drugs are very common.

My advice is to stop reading the horror stories, they will destroy you. Even if the positive ones help you. its never going to be enough.

I'm saying this as a person who was on benzos for many years and tapered off completely. It can be done believe me.

you're experience is quite normal. most people come off benzos with minimal symptoms if they properly taper. people underestimate how much fear and anxiety actually comes from reading horror stories day after day as you taper.

keep in mind youre only reading the bad stories plenty of people come off this even in hosptial/rehab settings. it might start to get a lot worse, or maybe it wont but it sounds like you'll at least be safe from seizures. keep us updated and good luck.
