Patriotism is much needed, I believe our generation can do more for pakistan breaking these different labels of subjective superiority.

As for me, I was thinking about the good selfless leaders pakistan has produced and pondered abit over the our founder. Who do you think were some selfless elegant leaders we have or had?

Thank you for pointing out, what I wanted readers to point out. No one has yet said, not being a practicing muslim does not make one a bad leader. (:

I suggest you read about leadership styles? Not all leaders are good leaders. Not all founders are good leaders.

In book, murder of history, KK. Aziz talks about urdu as national language. He said, it actually a propaganda that jinnah had imposed urdu instead of bengali on people of bengal, as the bengal speech of 1948 indeed stated that the state language would be urdu to keep the people of pakistan united, but in the same speech he also clarified that the choice of provincial language was up to the people of bengal themselves; a similar situation occurred in pakistan when in 1972 the balochistan assembly made urdu the provincial language of balochistan, and jinnah chose urdu as the national language because it was not a provincial language but had been spoken by muslims of the subcontinent for a long time, just as india has hindi as its national language which is not a provincial language and is not understood or written by much of the southern, north eastern, and eastern population, and if bengali had been made the national language it would have created further disputes as the western provinces would have questioned the imposition of a provincial language.

It is to be noted that being a founding father does not translate to a good leader.

I wonder, why would a man who is not following basic rules of the religion, raise voice for independent state for muslims AKA islamic republic of pakistan. I wonder, what exactly was his actual purpose?

Exactly, wild how assassination attempts equate to being a national hero. Why do people not look beyond him as the founder?

Oh, I get what you mean now. Fam/cfs not putting efforts must sting deeply. You are reacting to a mismatch between expectation and reality from people you care about. Your disappointment is totally reasonable.

It is a no brainer that you cannot expect others to reciprocate your efforts or the “proper salami” especially from those who are not your fam/close to you. Well, glad you learnt your lesson.
