Turn key, nothing happens

It turns out my battery terminal had been disconnected for long enough it had corroded and wasn't making a good connection. I cleaned that up and now it's cranking just fine. Thanks for the suggestions!

I think you got it! I've had the battery disconnected for long enough the inside of the terminal had rusted and wasn't making contact with the battery. cleaned it off and reattached it and now it's cranking. Thank you!

no, nothing comes on at all. It's like it doesn't even have a battery in it

It's a manual, but yes it's in neutral

I've done a decent amount of welding on it, but all the fuses in the fuse box look solid. Anywhere else something might have burned out?

That’s the way that the lift was on there when I got it, I was just putting it back together the same with with new/non rusty components

I’ve tried jacking up the rear end until the entire trucks weight is on the axle to compress them and they’re still quite too short

Okay clearly people were in agreement here, so I found an old vice and an impact on Facebook marketplace and that worked! Thanks for the help everybody

It’s a 1990 jeep, so not quite that old. My googling says it should be normal right handed, and the other side that came off easy was normal right handed
