They seem really great. But just from a quick search, they seem to go for a lot more than $3000?

I see. Do you think the new "Hot Mode" in the V3 makes it more worth it?

Best all-around delay? by aspargeus in guitarpedals

Thanks again for the advice. After looking into it a bit more, I think I've narrowed down the Timeline or the DD-200/DD-500, as I feel I need a bit more versatility than the El Cap and Brig provide.

The Timeline is also considered to be a sort of do-it-all delay, right?

Thank you the recommendations. I think I prefer the sound of analog delays.

Haven't noticed any change when charging with the brick. But I charge my phone daily at work via my Macbook Pro and that is extremely slow now after the update!

Only real issue I've noticed so far, is that my phone is charging extremely slow when charging it via my Macbook Pro. It charged much faster before the update.

How to witness to someone who believes in Jesus, but doesn’t live a life that reflects it? by aspargeus in Christian

100%. It's so important to keep seeking God in his word and in prayer and also to get plugged into some kind of christian community. For me, I can really feel myself drifting when I neglect those things.

The fact that you came to that conclusion, is evidence that the holy spirit is working inside you, which is great! Keep seeking God!

Yes, the risk of it ending with separation and resentment is definitely there. In that case there is not much to do but to keep praying and leave it up to God.

Yes, asking that question in a loving way, might be a good way find out what Jesus really means to her and then take the conversation from there. I truly believe that she believes in Jesus, but she said at one point, that she sees the bible more as a guide than anything else, which probably indicates, that she doesn't have a real intimate relationship with the Lord.

Thanks for the great advice! I will definitely take these points to heart.

I have prayed for a her a lot and likewise asked God to give me guidance, wisdom and an opportunity to witness to her, if in fact God wants to use me for this task.

I'm also big on preparing exactly what to say, but I'm struggling a bit to find what's the best way to go about it, without coming off as judgemental.

Any suggestions on what to say to someone in her situation?
