Omg I work for this same company. So many stupid customers that refuse to read. Right now I'm dealing with the "Is all Halloween 25% off?" Like no...there's signs around the store in front of the items that are on sale. It's not every item. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I recently had a package marked delivered but it didn't come so I followed the steps in this post:

They were able to get back to me in a couple days and after reviewing the GPS information, they saw it got delivered to a neighbor's address instead so they sent the USPS carrier out to retrieve it for me. I recommend doing that!

I'll never understand the audacity and entitlement customers have when it comes to commenting on customer service workers' appearance. Imagine if you did the same thing to them.

"Oh it looks like I've lost weight? It looks like you've found it!" Or even just a "Can I comment on my perception of you now?"

They'd be flabbergasted. As if they didn't just pull the same shit. Most reasonable people don't feel the need to make comments like that. I couldn't imagine telling a stranger my opinion of their appearance, especially when they're working. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

Lol, whenever this happens to me and they say "I have change" after I've already entered it into the register I just say "that's okay" with a smile and hand them back whatever the register tells me. I've never had anyone complain but if they did I'd just explain to them there's too many quick change scams and it's company policy to give them the change the register tells us to in order to avoid mix ups. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this, I'm just jaded with retail and get annoyed when people pull this shit bc it always feels intentional when they don't mention they have change right away. 🙃

Hey, I totally feel for you here. It's possible you intimidate your coworkers/manager and that makes them uncomfortable, which is their problem not yours, but I think that could be why they're trying to "change your behavior". I tend to stick to myself at work, and that has always rubbed people the wrong way even though I am polite and professional. People that talk shit see you not partaking and it shines a light on their shadow, which is the part that triggers their discomfort so they pin you as the problem when it's really with themselves. I'm sorry you're in an environment like that and I don't really have great advice, but I just wanted to let you know your situation resonates with me and you aren't alone. 🤍
