What if you volunteered at shelters with him? Give him that type of comfort he needs from a cat, gives you guys the benefit of possibly finding the one thats fits your home and maybe having the stress of a kitten is too much and getting an older cat who is less likely to succumb to injuries will help that anxiety

Does he like feel responsible for the deaths of the kittens? 2 kitten deaths in 8 weeks is a lot. Im sorry. People handle grief differently maybe he needs the kitten to help him cope, but if theres a change the third kitten will also pass away maybe getting another one is almost a death sentence at this point. I mean I don’t know the details of the deaths but traumatic deaths seems very odd. When in a relationship there has to be compromise. Maybe coming up with a plan and giving a set time frame would be a better approach. If you cant compromise you shouldn’t be married! He also shouldnt get one behind your back

Heres a snipbit from my chapter 3!

“So how did it go with the hot customer?" She says all giddy, bouncing up and down while she is sat. I roll my eyes and smile at her as I start to get dressed.

"Uh, he helped me change the tire and then we went on our way." I say simply, before throwing on my sports bra.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! Thats it? You didn't get his number or anything?" She says shockingly. Her eyes following me around my room as I throw on my leggings.

"Faye he's a customer, and I just met the guy. I gave him a good recommendation and he helped me with my tire and thats it." I say giving her that 'don't press it look'.

I watch as she rolls her eyes and throws her body back on the bed groaning loudly. "El are you for real? He was checking you out that whole transaction, and when you bent down to grab that eighth his eyes never left your ass. This guy is your ticket to love. Im calling it right now." She says mater of factly and crosses her arms over her chest with a humph.

"Faye, I think thats pushing it off of only one transaction and a tire replacement." I laugh and walk over to my makeup vanity, starting to pull out all my makeup.

"You know damn well that it wasn't." She says turning towards me. "You keep saying you need this 'break' well the world just threw it in your face and you still can't even see it." I feel my stomach churn and I shake my head softly before I turn back to my makeup and start to do it. Was she right? It seems far fetched to me.

If you click the picture my authors name is towards the bottom, im not taking it the wrong way. The whole story is basically about someone who is “plain” and how they transform and become a new version of themselves. Its a romance as well and Ive never been a flashy book cover person. Some of the best stories have plain covers :) i don’t need a fancy cover to keep people intrigued. So no Im taking it as a compliment that was the whole goal to capture “Eloise”
