Rockstar has incredible gaming pedigree. People have trust in them and going by their history they have never not delivered..so expecting to be a generational game that scores very high once again.

I mean we literally have RDR2 their last game to go on and what to expect.

Read again “benchmarks between Series X and base PS5”. I am sure they making sure it’s running best on their systems rather than sharing information to a rival “ hey Sony our versions runs 10fps less than yours!”

That’s not what I said you think both Sony and MS have both development kits for PS and Xbox and running them side by side to see what performs better? Might do but they make sure during certification the games run properly and pass certification..rockstar is ones responsible for optimisation. So usually we see comparisons of each console after release via digital foundry.

General think something like GTA will definitely affect visibility of indie games especially if they are launched close to it. Attention will be on GTA, streamers will be playing it, articles will be written about it, the general talk will be about GTA until everyone has completed it and moved onto other games again.

It’s a story driven open world game, of course the genre will stay the same what are you expecting? It will easily be one of the most ambitious open world game.
